Urban Inclusion: Berlin Homeless Shelter

The community setting is associated with a safe and close-knit environment almost like a family scene. Thus Henry Moore’s reclining sculpture of a mother embracing her child became a pivotal source of inspiration. Conceptually I represented this image in the form of hands curved in a protective shape almost like a shield surrounding the people. Thus, the concept offered a poetic metaphor to the plight of the users.
